About me
Saska is a Project Manager for the National Center on Advancing Person-Centered Practices and Systems (NCAPPS) which is administered by the Human Services Research Institute (HSRI). NCAPPS is an initiative from the Administration for Community Living (ACL) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) that helps States, Tribes, and Territories implement person-centered thinking, planning, and practice. Saska is particularly dedicated to working with public agency staff to create systemic change to ensure that people using long-term services and supports lead self-determined lives and receive person-centered care. Prior to joining NCAPPS, Saska was a Policy Program Specialist at Utah’s Division of Services for People with Disabilities, where her work addressed best practices for person-centered planning and compliance with the Settings Rule.
