Melissa started at TURN in October 1998. She began as a direct support staff to being the Residential Coordinator at a few different residential sites. In 2018 Melissa made the change to the Housing Specialist for TURN. The Housing Specialist’s role is to be the advocate for the individuals when it comes to making sure the housing cases are in good standing. Melissa not only makes sure the cases are in good standing with housing authorities but with landlords as well. Melissa works with 9 different housing authorities, and several landlords across the state of Utah.
